When to use it

Vitamin C, in addition to being an excellent antioxidant, supports the body's natural defenses and may be particularly useful for older people; during pregnancy and breastfeeding; for those who live or work in polluted environments; and for smokers (according to some studies, one cigarette can “burn” from 25 to 100 mg of vitamin C). Smoking, alcohol, coffee, pollution, stress, and even very intense physical activity all contribute to lowering the body's own vitamin C levels and limiting its absorption. In all these cases, it may be useful to supplement the amount of vitamin C normally taken in through the diet.

1 tablet a day, with a little water or other liquid, away from meals.
