Both Palo Santo and Copal have been used for thousands of years by indigenous shamans to heal body and soul, purify spaces, release negative energies, and prepare for meditation. While Palo Santo (“holy wood” in Spanish) is a mystical tree that grows along the South American coast, Copal is a resin once considered sacred by the Maya and Aztecs in Mexico and Central America. Usage tips

Light the tip of the incense stick and extinguish the flame after a few seconds. Place the stick in an incense holder designed to collect ash and set it on a flat surface that is not waxed, not varnished, and not exposed to drafts.
