Prud Off Anti-Itch Oil - For Body and Hair

The anti-itch oil from Ardes' Prud Off line, thanks to the soothing and softening properties of its ingredients, helps hydrate the skin, reducing the sensation of itchiness and discomfort.

The main ingredient in this line is the extract of the fruit of Zanthoxylum bungeanum, a plant from the Rutaceae family, which was already used in ancient Chinese medicine for its anti-itch properties: it is rich in hydroxy-alkamides, which calm the sensation of discomfort and soothe the skin.

Another precious ingredient is calendula (Calendula officinalis), an herbaceous plant native to North Africa, but also found in all countries overlooking the Mediterranean. It grows in fields and meadows; its flower is daisy-like and full of petals, with colors ranging from bright yellow to deep orange. In cosmetics, all its properties are used to give the skin maximum hydration, protection against external agents, as well as a softening and refreshing effect.

The anti-itch oil is an oily formulation with excellent emollient properties: rich in functional substances and essential oils, it nourishes and strengthens the skin barrier, leaving the skin more hydrated while also helping to fight the sensation of itchiness thanks to the action of extracts of St. John's wort (Hypericum perforatum) and Zanthoxylum bungeanum.

It can be used both on the body and on the scalp. One warning: due to the presence of St. John's wort in the formula, avoid use if prolonged sun exposure is expected.
